Seven Wonders of the Czech Republic

Hluboka Castle is renowned as one of the most beautiful castles in the country.  It was constructed in the 13th century using a gothic architectural style.  It was rebuilt several times over the following decades.  The castle is a national cultural monument of the Czech Republic.

The Charles Bridge is an historic bridge that extends across the Vltava River in Prague. It was built in 1357 and extends 1,692 feet (515.8 m) and is 31 feet (9.5 m) wide. It was commissioned by King Charles IV.

The Tyn Church, also known as The Church of Mother of God or Church of Our Lady, is an iconic feature of the old town of Prague. The church has towers that reach 80 meters high and are topped by four spires.

The Nove Mesto nad Metuji is actually an old town in the Hradec Kralove Region. It was founded in 1501, and is renowned for its unique setting.

Troja Palace is a Baroque palace influenced by a blend of French and Italian architecture. It was constructed for the Counts of Stemberg from 1679 to 1691. It now serves as an art gallery.

Prague Castle is the official residence and office of the President of the Czech Republic. It has been the seat of power for kings of Bohemia, holy Roman emperors, and presidents of Czechoslovakia. It is the largest ancient castle in the world. It covers about 70,000 square meters.

Rudolfinum is a music auditorium in Prague. It was constructed following the neo-renaissance style of architecture. It is located on Jan Palach Square and the bank of the river Vltava.

Rajec Jestrebi State Castle appears as more of a chateau. It is a unique castle following the style of Louis XVI featuring typical French roof with dormers.

Old Town Square is a historic square in the Old Town quarter of Prague. It features various architectural styles including gothic Tyn Church and baroque St. Nicholas Church. The tower offers a panoramic view of Old Town.
