Seven Wonders of Denmark

The Oresund Bridge serves as both a train railway and an automobile bridge than runs between Sweden and Denmark.  The bridge spans 25,738 feet (7,845 m), with the longest stretch extending 1,608 feet (490 m).

Egeskov Castle is the continent’s best-preserved Renaissance water castle. The castle was constructed in 1554. The architecture features depressed and round-arched windows.

Frederiksborg Castle, also called Prederiksborg Palace, construction was completed n 1620. It is situated on three small islands with Palace Lake.

Christiansborg Palace, also called Christiansborg Castle, serves as the seat of the Danish Parliament, the Supreme Court, and the Prime Minister’s Office. Construction was completed in 1928.

Mons Klint is a part of the Danish coastline that features chalk cliffs. At 143 meters, the cliffs are the highest point in Denmark.

The Aurora Borealis, or Northern Lights, is incredible lights that occur naturally in the sky at various times. The colors and patterns vary, but are majestic whenever they happen. They are one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.

Borsen, the former stock exchange building, was completed in 1640. It served as a stock exchange until 1974. The Dragon Spire shaped as dragon tails is a highlighted feature, and they reach a height of 56 meters.

Copenhagen City Hall houses the Lord mayor of Copenhagen and serves as the headquarters for the council. The building is located in City Hall Square. Construction was completed in 1905.

The Trelleborg Viking House is a reconstructed longhouse represented of the old Viking houses. There are questions about the precise construction, but it serves as a window into the historic Viking heritage.

The Copenhagen Opera House construction was completed in 2004. It is argued as one of the most modern and expensive opera houses ever built, and it features one of the largest orchestra pits. It can hold up to 1,703 seats.

Man Meets the Sea is a monument of four seated men each reaching a height of 30 feet (9 m). It was constructed in 1995 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the municipality. It is located on the southwest coast of Denmark near Saedding Beach.

Kronborg is a castle located in Helsingor. It served as a stronghold. It is renowned as Elsinore in Shakespeare's Hamlet. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Europe's most significant Renaissance castles.
