Seven Wonders of the Caribbean Nature

Duns River Falls is a famous watefall located on the island of Jamaica near Ocho Rios.  The falls are terraced like a huge natural staircase that travels over 600 feet (180 m), and ascends 180 feet (55 m) up the hillside.  It is a famous attraction as visitiors climb and explore the falls.

Sulphur Springs is located on the island of Saint Lucia. It is the only drive in volcano in the world. The water temperature at the center springs boils at 340 Farenheit. Driving to the rim of the volcano makes it a common tourist destination.

The Great Blue Hole s a massive submarine sinkhole near the coast of Belize.  It is found near the center of Lighthouse Reef.  The hole is 984 feet (300 m) across and 407 feet (124 m) deep.  It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Virgin Gorda is the third largest of the British Virgin Islands.Christopher Columbus named the island Flat Virgin because it looked like a woman lying on her side. The most notable feature are the unusual geolgocial formations known as "The Baths" that create incredibly scenes.

El Yunque National Forest, also known as Luquillo National Forest and Caribbean National Forest, is a forest found on the island of Puerto Rico.  It is the only tropical rain forest in the US National Forest System.  The highest mountain reaches a peak of 3,494 feet (1,065 m).

Eagle Beach is a pristine beach located on the island of Aruba.  Aruba is renowned for its beaches and Eagle Beach tops the list.  It has soft white sand and is considered one of the best beaches in the world.

The Pitons are two mountainous volcanic plugs found on the island of Saint Lucia. The first, named Gros Piton, reachs 771 meters and the second, named Petit Piton, reaches 743 meters high.

Bottom Bay is a beach and beach located on the island of Barbados.  It is recognized as the best beach on Barbados.

Sting Ray City is located in the waters surrounding the Cayman Islands.  The shallow crystal clear water and collection of stingrays make the area a popular destination for tourists.  Snorkeling is one of the best ways to experience these amazing creatures.

Harrison's Cave is located on the island of Barbados. A tramway provides access to this subterranean world. Visitors can explore stalagmites and stalactites and other geological formations.

Bioluminescent Bay is part of the Las Cabezas de San Juan natural reserve located on the island of Puerto Rico.  The bay is renowned for the bioluminescence waters that glow in the evening hours.

Anse Chastanet is a beach located on the island of Saint Lucia. It is renowned for excellent scuba diving and snorkeling. The beach is protected on the lee side of the Pitons mountains. It has been labeled as one of the most romantic getaway spots.

Diamond Falls is a waterfall located on the island of Saint Lucia.  It is found in the Diamond Falls Botanical Gardens, which is a six acre award winning botanical gardens.  The water is laced with minerals, sulphur, magnesium, iron and calcium which create a kaleidoscope of colors on the rock face of the falls.

Conchi is a rugged and naturally created pool also known as "Cura di Tortuga." The rugged terrain only makes this wonder candidate accessible by foot, horseback or 4x4 vehicles. It is part of Arikok National Park located on the north shore of Aruba.
