Blood Mountain is located in the Chattahoochee National Forest.  Reaching a height of 4,458 feet, it is the tallest peak along Georgia's stretch of the Appalacian Trail.  The name Blood Mountain came from the battle of the Creek and the Cherokee.  One of Georgia's most popular hiking destinations.

The Georgia State Capitol is located in Atlanta. It has been declared an architecturally and historically significant building. It was also declared a National Historic Landmark and it is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

Amicalola Falls is a beautiful waterfall. It reaches a height of 729 feet making it the tallest waterfall east of the Mississippi. Amicalola Falls is a significant part of the Trail of Tears and was named after the Tribe of Cherokee.

The Historic Site consists of several buildings related to Martin Luther King, Jr. Anchoring the historic site, visitors will experience his home and his original church where he pastored. Collectively, the buildings and site make up 35 acres including a museum that chronicles the American civil rights movement.

Stone Mountain is a massive granite mountain that reaches a peak of 1,686 (514 m). It has the largest bas-relief in the world. It features a large carving of General Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, and Thomas Stonewall Jackson on horses.

Rock City is ancient collections of rock formations and boulders located on Lookout Mountain. The mountain reaches a height of 1,700 feet. It is complemented by a 100 foot waterfall that flows down the mountain.

The barrier islands of Georgia represent the least disturbed coast along the entire eastern coastline.  There are 8 clusters of barrier islands and only four of the islands are accessible by car.  Tybee, Cumberland, and Jekyll are some of the most famous of the barrier islands.

Providence Canyon is located 150 miles southwest of Atlanta, and it is affectionately known as "Georgia's Little Grand Canyon." It extends across 1,109 acres and features 16 related canyons.  Another highlight is the 43 different colors of sand found in the area.

Brasstown Bald is the highest point in Georgia, which allows visitors to see four states from the peak. It reaches a height of 4,784 feet. Wildlife include black bears, whitetail deer, and an array of songbirds.

The Okefenokee Swamp covers approximately 700 miles of southeast Georgia and northwest Florida. An abundance of wildlife call the area home including black bears, alligators, water moccasins, and otters. It is a popular destination for nature lovers.

The Blue Ridge Mountains are a mountain range that is part of the Appalachian Mountain chain. The Blue Ridge Mountains are home to black bear, grouse, songbirds, turkeys, wild boars, and whitetail deer.

The Swan House is one of the most recognized and photographed historical houses in Atlanta. It was constructed in 1928 and features the 19th and 20th Century Revivals architectural style. It sits on 28 acres of wooded grounds.

The Etowah Indian Mounds is the most intact Mississippian Culture site found in the Southeast region of the USA. It served as home to thousands of Native Americans between the years 1000 A.D. to 1550 A.D. It sits on 54 acres and is one of Georgia's historical sites.

The Chattahoochee River begins in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Georgia and flows to Alabama and Florida. The Chattahoochee River, which translates "river of painted rocks," extends 436 miles.  Visitors swim, canoe, fish, kayak, paddle board, and motorboat down the river.

The Cathedral of St. John the Baptist is a Roman Catholic cathedral located in Savannah. It is the Mother Church of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Savannah. Construction occurred from 1873 through 1896.

The World of Coca-Cola is an exhibition attraction that features the history of the Coca-Cola Company. The cola drink is an iconic representation of not only the state, but the entire country. "Have a Coke and a smile," embodies the spirit of the company and the historic exhibit.  Coca Cola was created in 1886.

The Georgia Aquarium is located in Atlanta. It is home to more than 100,000 animals and approximately 500 species that live in 10 million gallons of either marine or fresh water. It earned the honor of being the largest aquarium in the world when it opened in 2005.

Rock Eagle is an archeological rock formation dating back to 1,000 to 3,000 years ago.  It is 102 feet long and 120 feet wide.  It is on the National Registry of Historic Sites.
